Short Bio
Eijiro Miyako received his PhD in Chemical Systems and Engineering from Kyushu University (Japan) in 2006. During his PhD thesis, he worked as a Research Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) for a year. Shortly thereafter, he joined to National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) (Japan) to start his own works as an independent researcher in 2006. He also worked as a visiting scientist at Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) (France) from 2012 to 2013 and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) from 2017 to 2018. He then joined Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) (Japan) from 1st of July 2019 as an associate professor, and became a full professor from 1st of October 2024. He also served as the Research Director of Research Center for Exponential-Biomedical Engineering (Research Core) in JAIST from 1st of April 2021 to 31st of March 2023.
